Q – Do I need any driving experience before beginning?

A – We teach all experience levels. Many students have had no behind the wheel training while others drive well and are just looking for some fine tuning to help them pass the test. Many of our students already have their license and are looking for ways to be a safer driver or to practice specific skills they feel they may need to improve. Whatever your needs, we can help.

Q – What ages do you teach?

A – Students must be at least 15 to get their permit in Missouri, and they must have their permit or license before doing lessons or any behind the wheel driving. There is no maximum age, a large number of our students are 30’s, 40’s, 50’s or older, we’ve had a few students in their 90’s.

Q – Can I use your car for the test?

A – Students can purchase an additional lesson to use our car for the test if they have completed at least 6 hours and we feel they are safe and ready for the test. During the first portion of the lesson we would warm up and refresh the students memory on what will be expected of them, then they would take the actual driving portion.

Q – What if there is bad weather?

A – Usually in poor road conditions we give our recommendation on what we think is best, but it is not a problem if a student would like to reschedule do to bad weather. We are willing to go out in all but the worst conditions if a student is looking to get experience with any type of adverse conditions. We can teach in the rainy / snowy / icy / dark conditions if desired.

Q – Do I need to have my own car to do lessons?

A – Students only need to have their permit with them. We provide the car and insurance and everything else needed.

Q – What kind of car will  I be taught in?

A – Currently the main car used is a 2013 Chevy Malibu.
